The Daily Read: Guilty Pleas At The Ville & More

Adams of the Courier Journal, Louisville's Terrence Jennings and Jerry Smith pleaded guilty Monday to resisting law enforcement.   They each received a one-year suspended prison sentence, 40 hours of community service and a $500 fine.  Louisville coach Rick Pitino previously said that neither player will be suspended for the incident.  Both are starters.  Smith, a senior co-captain, averaged 7.8 points and 2.1 rebounds last season and Jennings, a 6-10 sophomore, led team with 53 blocked shots.
